Our world is in need of strong female voices; ones who ask meaningful questions, propose powerful action plans and ideas, and support one another on their own individual and collective journeys of success. In such a critical time, we are pleased to introduce a new initiative to female students within our Middle School: The Kind Club.
The Kind Club is an internationally recognized non-profit organization that works to facilitate a sisterhood among girls. This a part of a school commitment designed to ensure that all female voices are heard and respected. Through its initiatives, the club aims to support girls specifically during their Middle School years, recognizing the variety of pressures put on them and, aiming to empower them with the skills needed to support both themselves and each other.
The Kind Club will meet once a month during lunch. During this time, students will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities, each aimed at building skills that empower them to make a difference and share their voice with each other, and the world. Further, we will work towards cultivating an open community where girls are encouraged to ask questions, share concerns, or seek advice from their peers.
