Community Project Actions

And…ACTION! 🎬 As part of the build up to the Community Project Fair , our Y8 students supported local and global issues. Their initiatives included fundraising for important causes such as orphanages & stroke prevention. They also organised a self-defence lesson for teens, a bike tour of Milan with a focus on safety, a sustainable clothing swap to fight fast fashion and a teacher workshop to raise awareness about autism - to name but a few of these meaningful actions!

BES 6th grader Stefano G.

BES 6th grader Stefano G. has won the US-based Drama Notebook's April monologue contest! Stefano wrote his monologue from the perspective of his dog trying to get his owner's attention - and the judges loved it, saying the work was "original and hilarious"! Thanks to Drama Notebook and congrats to all our budding authors and their teacher, Ms. Ana.
